Ok, obviously you know I have some already. I mean, Jurassic Park III? Nothing more needs to be said about that. The other day I sent back one of the Netflix discs from season 3 of The Office. (sidenote: I so, so love Netflix.) I hadn't looked in my queue for a while to see what was next to arrive and forgot to check it after I sent this one back. Imagine my surprise and utter delight when I saw which movie had been at the top: PREDATOR, collector's edition. Um.. YES, OH YES. First i was like, what? i added this? sort of embarrassed. That moment lasted .2 seconds and Saturday night Sean & I watched it in all its glory.
I remember seeing it on tv years ago some Saturday afternoon and was intrigued. Mainly I remember Ahnold emerging from the river completely 100% covered in mud and how he escaped the infrared radar of The Predator. Awesome. The movie was as good as I remembered, if not better. Have we forgotten Jessie Ventura is in the movie?? I had. I mean, ok, there are gross parts. Jessie gets a huge hole blown in his gut. People are skinned and hung from trees. (Ha ha. ew. I am sick.) But it's old enough that the gruesomeness is pretty mild and unrealistic. The Predator though is totally scary and it really, really makes me want to see Predator VS Alien, but I'll have to see Alien first (both of which, incidentally, are already on my queue, not recently added). So maybe it's completely embarrassing but you know what? I don't care. I am what I am.
So I guess you could say one of my guilty pleasure movie genres is action adventure man movies?
What are your guilty pleasure movies?

Spaceballs. It's got some bad language, but it's just hilarious.
All I have to say is "Mike..."
Saturday's Warrior.
Just kidding.
I already confessed to High School Musical.
Home Alone and the sequel. Home Alone 3 is just a going a bit too far though.
spaceballs--classic.
"mike...oh.. aliens almost grabbed me and pulverized me like they just did to that other guy but somehow i slipped through their fingers. oh, mike... i am so scared. zzz" :D
you know, i totally didn't ever see Saturday's Warrior. I think i'm the only one in Mormondom.
MAC- You shouldn't feel guilty at all about the Home Alone movies! Well, i never saw the 3rd and i barely remember the 2nd but the first? Totally good.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles--just the first one, the one that came out early 90's. And another classic 80's flick about a high school prom that has every actor from an 80's sitcom in it. I can't remember the title, but it does have a subplot about condoms that I thought was super racy when I used to secretively watch it in junior high. Oh and, of course, the Riki Lake version of Hairspray.
