I haven't been to Utah for Christmas for 3 years. Within that time, a tradition had begun with my two sisters making elaborate and fancy Christmas cookies. Now, you might call me an excellent baker, and I would thank you for calling me that because I'm really, really not. But since my other sister Ashley is in Poland for a few months, I had to take her place in the cookie extravaganza. My sister Stephanie headed up the project and basically made everything and all I had to do was assemble it. It was a lot of fun and a very festive activity. Here are some pictures for you.
And here is the slushy milk my mom gave me. She had poured me a cup of milk to go with my cookies (thanks mom) but i hadn't seen it so it got warm, so she put it in the freezer to get cold again and then when she pulled it out to give it to me a second time, it was slushy. I love my slushy milk. It's so nice to be home.
