word of the week that i keep mispronouncing

It's twice now that i've pronounced it like apple-y, as in, having an apple-esque quality. I just can't read it right.

I do not know why.

I had this same problem with the word pothole. I was making the 'th' sound and yes, I sounded like a moron. My roommate Tara's classic su-gar. We're grad students :)

That... is funny. Pothole is always a killer, as is haphazard. What are some others? Hmm...
