My intent is not malicious. I just noticed that a lot of people seemed to be confused so I thought i'd help them out. :) It's an act of service is what it is, is what it is.
Thank you for keeping things clear, I get frustrated by mistakes such as that. My current pet peeve is when people use good instead of well (ie Jen plays piano really good).
Is it yea or yeah or yay? Personally, and I know this isn't the popular answer but I'm a "maverick" in the tradition of Mel Gibson and John McCain, I vote for yay. I think of it as a shortened version of Hooray.

Wait, to what are you referring? In what context?
Here is how i'd define all of those:
yay = yay! Hooray!
yeah = (short 'a' sound) informal (slang?) form of "yes."
yea = (long 'a' sound) biblical way to say "yes."
ya = (short u sound) shortened word for "you."
