Hot Nerds
Sean and i gave ourselves a post-Christmas present and bought some new glasses for like 10 cents. Ok, a bit more--they were about $28-- EACH, post-prescriptioned and with anti-glare. say what now?

Oh, and love the glasses.
That sort of makes me wonder what kind of ridiculous markup there is on frames in the U.S. I mean, my wife's uncle runs a designer glasses store where a single pair will run you over $300. It's a long-overlooked (far-sighted?) scandal that should be investigated.
Designer brands may be better made but it's just something I don't care about. I'd much rather have a nice simple frame that doesn't have the brand's name anywhere on the glasses. Aagh I hate that. Besides, I'm constantly dropping my glasses, knocking them off the nightstand, etc etc. So i'd rather beat up cheap ones. :)
