Once, I ran into music in the streets of New York. I didn't notice it at first but I stopped & looked down and there it was, as plain as day. Since then I've discovered it again and again wher'er I go. I would say that the music is following me, and I would say it is so I don't forget the tune, and I try not to. Afterall, t'is a catchy little thing.

I like this a lot. Think it was deliberate? That someone was just HOPING you'd appreciate their work? Or totally coincidental?
What isn't coincidental, however, is the fact that you had your camera with you for both sightings. Smart thinking.
This vaguely reminds me of The Crying of Lot 49, except music instead of some weird underground postal system. Music is definitely cooler.
This happens to me too, except with gum.
Totally not deliberate! New York blesses the observant. You're always on the watch for music. I'm usually busy watching out for interesting sidewalk cracks or textures and lucky pennies, well when I'm not on the prowl for hot boys - to each their own.
p.s. i like this post even more than most. That's saying a lot.
That is super cool, good job at being so observant!
it's amazing the treasures you find in the streets here, eh?
