A phrase i use as hyperbole that isn't really hyperbole at all. well, kind of.
When an event is so traumatic in some way, it sends my heart into cardiac arrest! But really, that just means my heart stopped beating. Not what i want to have happen, sure. Frightening, sure. But kind of anti-climactic, no?

Being married to a doctor, I've started saying, "Wow, I almost had an acute MI!!!" Yeah, I'm an even bigger nerd than I used to be...
