Because I'm the kind of person who, after washing my face and burying it in a towel, I heartily laugh into it because, along with drying my face, it just feels like the right thing to do. I also tend to use a lot of commas.
Quick--give me something random about yourself!
I'm the kind of girl who needs to have white noise to fall asleep.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I can only drink hot drinks like cocoa, postum, etc. if it's the ONLY thing I'm eating/drinking. No cocoa with my breakfast - I need COLD drinks with meals!
I love the sound of Velcro being ripped apart. Seriously, it's like my favorite sound.
ReplyDeleteI'm the kind of person who hates the scrape of the ice that forms on the outside of old frozen goods worse than fingernails on a chalkboard. HATE it.
ReplyDeleteIt's almost physically impossible for me to do the dishes without singing (generally show tunes). Sometimes I wonder what my neighbors think since anyone in the hallway can probably hear me, but it turns out I don't care enough to stop.
ReplyDeleteI'm the type that has to not only read the English instructions and warnings on boxes and bottles, but also the French and German versions.
ReplyDeleteI don't necessarily understand what they're saying all the time (except I do since I just read the English version). In my mind I imagine that I have perfect pronunciation since I studied French and German in school. But again, it's probably only perfect to me. Especially the French cause that language can be kooky sometimes.
I'm the kind of person who writes quirky comments about myself on the blogs of others.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite brand of pens is Pilot.
ReplyDeleteApparently I tend to sing-talk a lot. So if I call your name, it will come out in a sing-songy voice. I didn't notice it until my mission when I said thank you (sing-songy-style) to one of the elders for something and he turned to his companion and said, "See? She sings everything!" I think my mom is the same way...
ReplyDeleteI also use WAY too many parenthesis when I write. (Or dashes, but I use those parenthetically, too. So it's really the same thing.)
Ahh, love the quirks. Thanks. I've learned so much, and it spices up the day.
