Is it just me or does it please you when food things expire on significant dates? Right now i'm eating string cheese that expires on Valentine's Day. String Cheese of Love. I remember something had an expiration date of Julian's due date. I thought, wow... this pie crust is going to die on the day there could be new life. Big day in our house.
What secretly pleases you?
goodness - when I first read this I thought you had written that you were eating string cheese that expireD on Valentine's Day. As in... past tense.
ReplyDeleteBut I'm glad that you are eating safe food, and that you are able to enjoy the simple things in life.
Food has expiration dates?!
ReplyDeleteIn Australia, they have this Ultra Heat Treated milk in special containers that lasted like 4 or 6 months or something (unopened). So it was always the big thing when you could buy UHT milk that expired after your mission departure date.
I always look for milk cartons that expire on my birthday. I have no idea why. I think milk is the only expiration date I pay attention to, actually...
ReplyDeleteI like it when it's 11:30, morning or night, because that's my birth month and day.
ReplyDeleteOoo, ooo, inspired by Ashley, I like it when it's 12:34. I always make a wish and smile to myself.
ReplyDeleteIt's no secret. Vacuum lines on the carpet please me.
ReplyDeleteHa. I like those clock ones. I do that with my birthday too. (By the way, happy half birthday to meeee! and Melissa! Holla!)
ReplyDeleteI never knew that about you, Brooke. I guess it was a secret... to one person.
Mmm... ultra heat treated milk..mmmm...
