I think many of us have taken some kind of quiz or another (admit it) to find out which Jane Austen character we are most like. Is it Elizabeth Bennett? Or Elinor Dashwood? Perhaps Emma Woodhouse or Fanny Price. Well guess who's mine? According to an adamant Sean and a reluctant me, this character:
Margaret Dashwood, 13-year-old sister of Elinor and Marianne from Sense & Sensibility. She's a polite girl who climbs trees and is fiercely protective of her atlas. And, i very much looked like her back in the day, perm and all. It's the total obvious answer.

I couldn't feel more strongly about this.
I am still waiting to hear back from the Austen Archives but I expect that they will confirm that the original name given to this character by the author was in fact Jen... Jen Morello... Dashwood.
Um, yes and yes. It's the map thing that does it for me--so Jen-like.
Alright, I took one such quiz because I never have before (that I can remember), and I got Elinor Dashwood. I can see it in some ways. Jane Bennett was a close second. Interesting. I'd like to think I'm a bit more fiery than they are, but whatevs.
I love yours, though. It is pretty perfect. Maybe a grown-up Margaret.
