I was thinking the other day, as i am inclined to do, and a heated debate began in my head. I think I know which one wins but i wanted to ask what you thought. Help me out, will you?
So: which is worse?
Doctors and Dr. offices or airports & airport employees?
GO!

Wow. This is a seriously tough one. My kneejerk reaction is that airports are worse, but at least there's a lot more entertainment at an airport. Of course, the doctor doesn't ask you to come 1-2 hours early, either. They both potentially see you naked and maybe even grope you in awkward places, so there's that, too...
I think they might be in the same circles of hell!
I was going to leave my own opinion, but nothing can beat Alanna's groping comment. I tip my hat to you.
I win!
This is like REVERSE Sophie's Choice. Which one do I hate the most? Alanna makes great points. And each time I decide in my head which one is worse, I change my mind. I was going to say, when you're flying at least you know you're going to end up somewhere you want to be. But then I realized that's not always necessarily true. And then I thought, at least doctors IN THEORY are there to help you at some point. You would hope that would always be true. But then, look at Michael Jackson. But, I have to say, I've wanted to kill myself LESS in doctor's offices than I have in airports. I guess that is the ultimate litmus test.
WORD. It's so hard for me to decide. But in the end, I agree with you. I want to kill myself less in doctors offices than in airports, where the sensation is immediate and at 100% within a 1-mile radius of it.
No one at the airport is there to help you. The pilots fly the plane but i'm pretty convinced a) i don't need anyone else and b) that anyone could fly a plane. I mean, how long is flight school? like 2 weeks? Doctor school is a bit longer, from what i understand. oh i could go on and on. but i won't. today.
p.s. no offense to any pilot friends out there, but you know by now that I already hate you by association, and also by the stupid things your kinsmen say.
I agree. Airports are much worse. At least doctors are trained to grope you, not just the willy-nilly groping you might get at the airport. And doctors are usually concerned for your well being, while airports couldn't care less and they'd actually rather you leave.
